Open House
Come and see what we love about our preschool!
Silver Spring Nursery School (SSNS) will hold its Open House for the 2016/2017 school year on Wednesday, January 11 (2s, 3s and 4s classes in session), and Thursday, January 12 (2s and 4s classes in session). Our snow day is Friday, January 13.
We encourage you to come on the day your child’s prospective class is being held. There will be an informational session each day at 10:00 am, followed by a tour of the school and have the opportunity to talk with our wonderful teachers.
Reservations are NOT required. Childcare for all ages is provided in the room with you by our cooping parents and is free of charge.
In case of school delays/closures due to weather, please call SSNS at 301-434-2313 to check on the status of the Open House.
SSNS is a cooperative, play-based nursery school for 2, 3, and 4 year olds, where teachers and parents work together to help children develop a healthy sense of identity and self-esteem.

SSNS offers a developmentally-appropriate environment that is rich in possibilities for exploring, learning flexibility and problem solving, understanding differences, thinking creatively, making choices, and accepting responsibilities.
SSNS is located at 10309 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring, MD. It's 3 blocks north of the Beltway, about 8 minutes from downtown Silver Spring and 10 minutes from Takoma Park.

Admission will be determined by lottery selection of applications received by open house attendees. Applications received after January 20th will be placed on our waitlist.
